Dr. Carlton had the pleasure of interning, then practicing at Bloch Wellness and Sports Medicine in Long Beach. There she learned from, then became part of a collaborative team of amazing forward thinking doctors. The experience of having six doctors and many interns to share ideas amongst helped her expand her knowledge and accumulate a multitude of ways to work with her patients. Her experience is with a wide variety of demographics. Being an Athlete Trainer, she is very passionate about sports and athletes, but she also is extremely interested in Hyperbarics and all of the benefits that it can have on the body and brain.
Having the ability to adapt to her patients needs and wants is one of Dr. Carlton’s greatest skills. She frequently uses a variety of modalities to aid and increase the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Nutritional information and corrective exercise, especially postural correction, are important elements of the care she provides. She is always seeking new and improved methods to ensure her patients are receiving the best care.
"I had the privilege of working with Dr. Carlton throughout my collegiate track and field career. When I first started working with her, I had very severe shin splints that mde it incredibly difficult to train. his has been an ongoing problem for several years that I had not been able to find a solution to. She used a variety of different treatment methods to eliminate the pain. I also suffered a very severe back injury that required emergency surgery. Dr. Carlton was an integral apart of my recovery. I have also worked with her on maintaining my body so I am always competition ready. She was able to leverage her extensive knowledge of the human body and difference treatment methods to help me become a three-time conference champion and a two-time D1 NCAA postseason qualifier."
"The thing I love best about Dr. Carlton is tat she is truly on a mission to help you get better and she will search for the best possible treatment to help you. "Dr. Carlton has been my chiropractor for the past five years, and she is AMAZING. The day of one of my tournaments, I woke up with back tightness that would have prevented me from playing. Dr. Carlton was so flexible and able to fit me in and get me ready for my tournament."
"Dr. Carlton is both intuitive and caring. Her soft tissue and adjusting skills are fantastic, and she does a great job looking at each person as a whole. She's easy to talk to, and you'll leave feeling like your doctor really listened to you in order to determine the best treatment plan for you... a truly rare find! Not only have I worked along side Dr. Carlton, I have also studied alongside her at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and lobbied for chiropractic care in Washington DC with her. She's a smart, dedicated practitioner with a great education and clinical skills to help you hit the reset button on your health."
